He's cute, but we're not together, she tells Ellen DeGeneres

She's never been that good at keeping her love life a secret but, this time, there's no secret to keep. In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, both Taylor Swift and Zac Efron have denied they're romantically involved

The two go a long way back but only recently did they work together, on the animated movie “Lorax.”

Shortly after the film came out, so did reports that they were more than friends.

However, Taylor tells Ellen, to assume that they're dating just because they worked on a film together is rather ridiculous.

Video of the entire interview is below. As we also noted minutes ago, the two also sang a duet on the same occasion, which you can see here.

“We are not a couple. He’s awesome, we are not a couple though. You hear people get together when they’re shooting movies, co-stars,” Taylor tells Ellen.

“But not like animated co-stars. You know what I’m saying. Oh my god, as we were recording out voiceovers on separate coasts we really connected,” she adds laughing.

Ellen is not convinced though. For the entire interview, she continues pressing the two for details of their alleged romance, even asking them how they spent Valentine's Day.

As it turns out, they weren't even in the same place.

Taylor had a “pathetic single girls party,” where she rounded up all her single girlfriends, ate junk food, danced and had fun for an entire night.

Zac, on the other hand, spent a Valentine's Day more worthy of the name, with a woman whose identity he doesn't want to reveal – which proves the perfect opportunity for Ellen to blow the lid off her “secret affair” with the former “High School Musical” heartthrob.

“That’s so different than what single guys do. I went to a screening of a film that I did called Liberal Arts. Then cooked some dinner with a friend,” Zac reveals.

To make things much easier for them, Ellen hands them customized t-shirts that state the status of their relationship, just so they can avoid further confusion.
