14 DAY TRIAL // One of the largest Indian carriers, Tata Teleservices has just announced the availability of an exclusive ‘Family Plan’ for its new and existing Tata Indicom and Tata Walky post-paid customers
In addition to receiving a single bill for the entire month, customers who opt for the Family Plan will be offered a host of benefits.
These benefits are available for all family members in a common “pool” like unlimited free local CUG, as well as free SMSes and minutes.
The new 'Family Plan' comes with a monthly rental of Rs. 499 for three family members, but customers can also add up to 2 more members at an additional cost of Rs. 150 per member.
In addition, under the monthly plan, customers can avail the benefit of PPS (pay per second) tariff and can make all national calls at 1 paise/second. Those who are more attached to messaging will be charged at 50 paise per SMS.

This plan is yet another key step in our constant endeavor to simplify and uncomplicate telecom services,”said Mr Vineet Bhatia, regional head (North-Central), Tata Indicom.
According to the carrier, all family members can pool in Rs. 450 worth of local/STD calls and 100 local/STD SMSes every month. They can also take advantage of the free unlimited local CUG amongst themselves.
“Starting today, all our Tata Indicom and Tata Walky post-paid customers can stop worrying about managing multiple bills, plans, payment datelines, etc. With this plan, they will benefit from buying into telecom as a single unit and consume from a large common pool of minutes and SMSes,” concluded Bhatia.
'Family Plan' subscribers can also avail an inter family local CUG at Rs. 25 and STD inter family CUG at Rs. 100 per member.
