US-based camera bags manufacturer Tamrac has recently announced the availability of a new series of messenger bags designed for photographers on the go.

The new Tamrac Apache series includes three new bags designed to be lightweight, comfortable, and discreet. At the same time, the new models can offer enhanced protection for all your photographic gear thanks to the padded interior that can be customized to fit your needs.

All three bags are made using the same tough sailcloth, which protects your gear even in harsh weather conditions thanks to its waterproof structure. In addition to that, all models feature a Hypatex bottom for increased protection against moisture and abrasion.

The Apache 2 is the smallest model of the three and can hold a compact DSLR or mirrorless camera with the kit lens (or similar) attached. The bag can also accommodate an additional lens up to 55-200mm, a flash, and other accessories.

Tamrac Apache 4 is a medium size camera and tablet bag that can hold a medium-size DSLR with a lens attached that measures up to 4 1/2'' / 11.5cm, one or two additional lenses, a flashgun, various accessories, as well as a few personal items. This model also comes with a foam-padded compartment where you can place your tablet.

Finally, the Apache 6 is the largest bag in this series, measuring 14 1⁄4''W x 7 1⁄4''D x 9 3⁄4H'' (36 x 18 x 25cm) and weighing a little over 2lbs / 1kg. This messenger bag can easily accommodate a DSLR with a 6'' / 15cm lens attached, 2-3 additional lenses, including a telephoto 70-200mm f/2.8, flash, and accessories. Like the Apache 4, this model also comes with an additional compartment designed to fit a tablet or a small laptop up to 12'' x 19 1/⁄2'' / 30 x 24cm.

All Tamrac Apache series bags are available right away at a price of £59.99 / €72 / $100 for Apache 2, £79.99 / €97 / $130 for the Apache 4, and £99.99 / €120 / $163 for the larger Apache 6 model.
