Talisman, the board game that got ported on PC and mobile, has recently received a major update on Android platform and is about to get another one today.

First and foremost, the fifth expansion, Sacred Pool, has been released in Google Play Store. Talisman for Android now features 4 characters, 72 Adventure Card, 16 Spell Cards, and 3 alternative endings.

But that's not all. The latest update has also added save slots, so players now have up to 10 offline saved games. There's also a new Sudden Death mode, which basically are shorter games with round limit.

Last but not least, developers have added “replacing quests” option, which is a new house rule that offers players the chance to replace their current Warlock Quest, when they are provided with a new one.

Obviously, many other fixes and improvements have been implemented as well, but no additional details on any of them have been shared yet.

The Shaman character will be offered as DLC

Today, developer Nomad Games has announced that another update should hit Talisman for Android, which is supposed to bring a new Shaman character.

“We’re delighted that The Shaman will finally be available for Talisman. She’s a very special character, given that she’s been created jointly by the Talisman community and SpecialEffect,” said Don Whiteford, MD of Nomad Games.

According to developers, the new Shaman character will be available as DLC beginning June 10. The bad news is that this is a paid DLC, so players who want to check it out will have to come up with £1.49.

You can now download Talisman for Android for $7.99 via Google Play store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.

For the time being, it's unclear whether the new DLC will be available on iOS platform as well, but we will probably know more later today, so stay tuned.
