OGPlanet intends to release the first major content update for Tales Runner, less than a month after the massively multiplayer online game's launch.

The update will bring tons of new content, aimed at both veteran players as well as newcomers alike. In addition to the inclusion of a much anticipated and highly requested character, Lily, the update also brings 13 additional maps, such as Uncle Lizard's Fury, a new channel for professional racers to hang out in, a new Oracle system, costumes, and much more.

In view of the closing summer, the devs behind Tales Runner want to bring a variety of fun and exciting events for their players to enjoy, in the new Run Into Summer Calendar Event.

Players will receive daily login prizes and various other fantastic rewards, by taking part in the simple events. For a full calendar of the upcoming feature, check out the official Run Into Summer Calendar Event webpage.

Tales Runner allows players to compete or cooperate while racing through numerous tracks based on popular fairy tales such as Jack and the Bean Stalk, Alice in Wonderland and many other international stories.

The core mechanics allow users to take part in fun, wonderfully bright and cheerful racing events, where they can challenge their friends in various game modes and compete against them and against other opponents in intense races supporting up to 30 players, as well as an unforgiving Survival Mode, where there can be only one winner.

The game also allows players to take on a wealth of PvE content, to tackle various magical enemies and take down epic bosses from all across the fairy tale realm, by working in tandem with a group of friends.

In addition to this, Tales Runner also has a strong social component, players being able to meet in the Park area and chat about races and victories, not to mention that users can even grow and sell their own crops at their farm, where they can also raise and train a pet that they can enlist in various pet races, competing against other players' companions.

Tales Runner's social-oriented gameplay also offers the opportunity for its players to enjoy various mini-games such as jeopardy quizzes, fortune-tellers, and many other such casual and fun activities.

Gamers can play the fantasy racing game for free, by heading over to the Tales Runner website and registering for an account.

The Run Into Summer Calendar Event is now live, and it runs until June 12.
