14 DAY TRIAL // We must admit that make up can really make a difference, but while most women use it to come out looking more beautiful, a talented makeup artist uses it as an artistic expression.
Elsa Rhae, who is also a freelance video editor/producer, is able to replicate any design on her face and body and uses make up and face paint to bring pretty much any videogame character to life in the real world.
Elsa graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Film and Media Studies, but her hobby is painting her face with different designs.
As you can see in the photo gallery below, she transformed herself into all kinds of iconic characters – from Captain Planet to The Grinch who stole Christmas and the Joker. While some of her designs are cute, others are really creepy and scary to watch, but regardless of the theme, the artist says it can take up to three or four hours to finish a face.
“I’ve been doing this for less than a year, I don’t know where this came from, I have no professional training besides a YouTube degree… but all of that works just fine for me. I think painting on my face is fun and I’m very appreciative of the support I have received,” Elsa said, according to Bored Panda.
