It's a recognition of superiority when your movie gets a spoof, because it means that you've made it into popular culture and you've reached a level of recognition that only few can ever hope to achieve. So let's hope that Liam Neeson is feeling mighty honored these days, as there is a spoof planned based on his action-movie franchise “Taken.”

Cameron Van Hoy and John Asher, two men who previously made the comedic short called “Taken 3: Back to Normal” are planning a full-feature spoof called “Tooken,” according to AceShowbiz.

Van Hoy confirmed the news on Twitter, “We're turning it into a feature length spoof,” adding that it would be a “Naked Gun”-style version of the modern action drama. It promises to bring laughs and comedic moments aplenty, as a CIA father tries to protect his daughter's virginity from her lusting boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the “Taken” franchise is getting ready to start filming its third installment, which will feature Liam Neeson in the title role yet again, along with Maggie Grace, who will play his daughter, and Famke Janssen, who will play his wife.

Details of the script are still unclear, but Liam once mentioned that he would only join the cast if no one got taken in this movie, which is sort of an indication of the direction the movie is headed.
