And controls how much television content a kid can watch every day

With tons of parental control devices already on the market, deciding what you should and what you shouldn't let your children see can be really confusing. Parents that are tired of catching their kids staring at "late night shows" can choose from remote controls or other electronic tools that block or filter TV contents.

Here's a decent answer to the "How to give children a normal life?" dilemma. Why argue with them about the age factor? Just mount the TV timer on the living room wall and let the little ones know who's the Alfa male (the TV timer that is).

As you've probably guessed from the title, the TV timer is a device that intends to control how much television content a kid can watch every day. Here's how it works: you insert the TV's plug into the TV timer, then secure it in the wall using a hex key that comes along with the device.

As soon as you realize the thing can't be removed from the wall, you can start setting the TV viewing periods (maximum three per day). Just in case your kids have well hidden "hacking" abilities, the device also comes with settings that are PIN number protected. Come to think of it, you can also use it to stop? well? yourself from watching TV (if you're a TV addict that is). Just make sure to write down the PIN code. Well, I guess it can't be reset.
