With the TRON-fever far from being over, many companies turned their attention to the development of related merchandise, but only one was brave enough to actually build replicas of the LightCycle bikes featured in Disney’s RD movie.

Back in mid-2010, the guys at Parker Brothers Choppers decided to offer TRON Legacy fans a reason to feel like they were part of the virtual world.

The LightCycle replica was thus born, looking like it drove straight off the movie screen, and causing a stir among enthusiasts.

The conventionally powered version of Parker Brothers Choppers’ LightCycle, which wears a price tag of USD55,000, used a V-twin engine from a Suzuki TLR1000.

Now, the creators of the LightCycle replica are back with an all-electric version of the bike, which was filmed while running in the daytime as well as nighttime, offering us the view of a LED-light poetry in motion.

While Parker Brothers don’t recommend the LightCycle for heavy use, they claim that it can reach a top speed of 100 mph (161 km/h). Let it charge for 15-35 minutes before taking it out for a spin and you’ll get to wow bystanders on a 100-mile (161 km) radius.

The bike weighs 474 pounds (215kg) and is just over 100 inches (254cm) long and 23 inches (58.4cm) wide.

The wheels are custom made 22" x12" dual hubless wheels with custom made tires by Hoosier, the frame is 2" cold rolled and boxed hardened steel with carbon fiber/fiberglass bodies, while the accent colors are neon glowing from behind frosted plexiglass and can be turned off or on at the touch of a button.

And let’s not forget to mention the unique riding position... The rider sits, or better said lays, 28.5 inches (72.4cm) off the ground, but its makers say it rides like any other sportbike.

Unfortunately, pricing for the electric LightCycle has not been disclosed yet, but we will keep you updated on the subject, so stay tuned.
