THQ has chosen Universomo as their partner for bringing new mobile phone games to the general audience. Beyond this partnership there is a simple logic: Universomo produces and THQ later publishes the mobile games.

"The combination of Universomo's award-winning creative development skills and their proven porting solution will enable new technology efficiencies for THQ Wireless, giving us the scalability to focus on building both our cornerstone brands and new, owned properties across Europe, Asia and North America", said Kelly Flock, executive vice president of worldwide publishing, THQ. Thus, it proves to be a profitable occasion for THQ to expand their game publishing services at a higher level by offering high quality products.

Not only THQ has many things to gain from this partnership, but also Universomo. This company has found a partner that will be able to bring their game creations to users from markets they have not reached before. This is the main idea that Universomo wanted to emphasize. "The easy integration of Universomo's development and technology means that we are on track to take full advantage of continued market growth opportunities worldwide", said Markku Hakkala, Managing Director, Universomo.

THQ provides entertainment software for the most popular game systems at a global level. On the other hand, Universomo is concerned only with the production of mobile games, without any publishing. This is why they have chosen to partner with THQ, which will bring their games to mobile phones that support Java and Symbian mobile platforms.

Among the highest regarded games included in this deal signed by THQ and Universomo, there are also Rollercoaster Rush, 300: The Mobile Game, LEGO Star Wars I & II and Emergency Mayhem. Still, the results of the recently closed partnership will be easy to see with the first release of two game titles: Wwe and Stuntman: Ignition.Rollercoaster Rush, 300: The Mobile Game, LEGO Star Wars I & II and Emergency Mayhem.
