Canadian carrier TELUS has just announced that the hotly anticipated HTC One will arrive on its airwaves on April 19 and it will go on sale online and at brick and mortar stores.

MobileSyrup reports that TELUS has priced the HTC One at $650/€490 on no term, which is the standard amount for a flagship smartphone.

Furthermore, new customers will be able to purchase the HTC One for only $150/€115 with a new three-year agreement. Check it out here.

The carrier has waived the activation fee and offers free shipping for all orders. According to TELUS, HTC One devices will begin shipping on April 18, but customers should allow 2-3 business days for delivery.

Arguably the best Android smartphone available on the market, HTC One will be delivered with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but the Taiwanese company has promised that an upgrade to Android 4.2 will be available for download later on.

The phone is equipped with a powerful 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Apparently, TELUS will only sell the 32GB version of HTC One, but we can expect the 64GB model to arrive in Canada as well. For the time being, there’s no telling when and what carrier(s) will offer the HTC One 64GB.

Keep in mind that HTC One does not come with microSD card slot for memory expansion, which is why the 64GB model might be so important for some Android fans.

The smartphone also boasts a hyper-vibrant 4.7-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

On the back, HTC One sports the famous 4-Ultrapixel camera, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p@30fps) video recording. There’s also a secondary 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
