Wireless services provider T-Mobile USA is reportedly set to bring to its airwaves two new highly-appealing devices sometime in October, namely the Samsung Hercules and the HTC Ruby.

Both smartphones were spotted into the wild before, but specific info on when they might be released at the wireless carrier did not emerge until now.

However, a recent document that leaked over at TmoNews unveiled the fact that both of them are slated for launch on October 26th, but no details on the price tag they might feature emerged for the time being.

The Samsung Hercules is said to be nothing more than a version of the already highly popular Galaxy S II smartphone, which was sold in over 5 million units in only two months after launch.

The handset should arrive at Magenta with a Super AMOLED Plus display and a dual-core application processor, as well as with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

In addition to running under Google's Android operating system and packing all the features that one would expect from such a device to include, the Hercules is also said to include support for T-Mobile’s 42 Mbps 4G network.

Along with it will arrive the HTC Ruby, a smartphone already leaked into the wild a few times before, and which was recently said to be on its way to T-Mobile as the HTC Amaze 4G.

Given the name, we might assume that T-Mobile will have two new HSPA+-capable devices available for purchase for its customers starting with October 26th, though no confirmation on the matter emerged for the time being.

Some of the rumored specs of HTC Ruby include a 4.3-inch qHD resolution LCD display, complemented by a dual-core application processor, and an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with HD video recording and the like.

No info on the price tag the two will feature when made available for purchase emerged for the time being. None of the two was yet confirmed to be headed for T-Mobile, but stay tuned for more on them.
