14 DAY TRIAL // Today, mobile phone users in the UK can purchase Apple’s new iPad on the airwaves of various wireless carriers in the country, including T-Mobil and Vodafone.
Both of these wireless carriers announced their monthly plans and pricing for the new device only today, when they also added the tablet PC to their offerings.
At T-Mobile, the new device features the same price tag as on Orange’s network. Existing T-Mobile users will be able to get the gadget for £199 on a £25 monthly plan when signing for a 24 month contract agreement. New customers will need to get £30 more out of their pockets.
The 32GB flavor of the new iPad model will go for £249 for existing customers, while being priced at £279 for the rest of them. The £25 plan will provide users with 1GB monthly data and 1GB 'quiet time' data.
“New iPad customers will benefit from the widest 3G coverage in the UK and, with our advanced 3.5G roll out, they will also benefit from a really fast network” said Pippa Dunn, consumer chief marketing officer, Everything Everywhere.

At Vodafone, the new device is available for £199 on the carrier’s £27 monthly plan with the signing of a 24 months agreement. The plan also includes 2GB of data and 1GB BT Openzone.
The 32GB flavor of the new device is available at Vodafone for £245, while the 64GB version goes for £275.
Users interested in the purchase of the new iPad with Vodafone connectivity will also be able to select SIM only plans. For £7.50 a month, they will get 500MB of data and 1GB BT Openzone access, while receiving 2GB of data for £15.
With a 9.7-inch Retina display with Multi-Touch and a Dual-core A5X chip with quad-core graphics, the new iPad is said to be the most advanced tablet PC at the moment. It also packs a 5MP iSight camera capable of 1080p HD video recording, and delivers up to 10 hours of battery life.
