Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA is gearing up for the release of a new tablet PC on its airwaves, the T-Mobile G-Slate from LG, and the company has just unveiled some more details on the availability and pricing of this device, along with info on the content that it should pack when made available.

According to the wireless carrier, it aims at having the new tablet PC available for purchase at $529.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.

The new device is expected to hit the shelves at the wireless carrier later this spring, running under Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, and featuring a wide range of high-end capabilities, including support for 3D content.

Some of the main features of the new device would include super-fast dual-core processor, complemented by a, 8.9-inch multi-touch screen, and 32 GB of internal storage.

Moreover, the tablet PC arrives on shelves with HDMI output, and with full home entertainment capabilities, not to mention that it would support the carrier's fast HSPA+ network, as well as 3D content playback and recording.

When made available for purchase, the new Android device would provide its users with access to various content, as well as to different services aimed at mobile phone users.

The wireless carrier notes that T-Mobile G-Slate users are expected to enjoy access TV shows, magazines, games and more.

Some of the applications that this device would sport at launch include:

T-Mobile TV. Live and on-demand TV, including news, sports and full-length entertainment, plus full on-demand TV shows.

Need for Speed SHIFT HD. An award-winning racing game that combines the true driver’s experience with real-world physics, pixel-perfect car models, and a wide range of authentic race tracks. Fully loaded on the G-Slate, the popular racing game is brought to life on the tablet with crisp HD graphics, and a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope.

Zinio eReader - The largest online newsstand, this e-reader enables customers to shop for, search inside, read, share and save digital content in new ways with more than 75,000 digital magazines from 26 countries.

Preloaded Google applications - Preloaded Google applications include Google eBooks and Google Talk, with access to over 150,000 additional applications on Android Market.

Compared to what other similar devices have to offer at price tags higher than $529.99, the G-Slate with Google by LG should prove a great option for all users, T-Mobile notes. The slate should be put on sale via T-Mobile retail stores and online on the carrier's website.
