US-based carrier T-Mobile and Samsung have just announced that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is finally available for Galaxy S III LTE.

Samsung kicked off the rollout of Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S III last month, but due to some issues, the South Korean company had to halt the deployment in order to fix the bugs affecting those who installed it on their devices.

The rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S III was resumed last week, when Samsung announced that it addressed all critical bugs previously reported by users.

Today, Samsung has confirmed that the same update is now available for the not so popular Galaxy S III LTE at T-Mobile USA. The handset maker has also published the official changelog, which doesn’t list too many of the features included in Android 4.3.

However, you can find below some of the most important new features and improvements that Samsung Galaxy S III LTE owners will be able to take advantage of after applying the update:

- Samsung Galaxy Gear support; - Samsung KNOX compatibility; - TRIM support; - Core UI elements updated to the ones on the Galaxy S4; - New Samsung Keyboard; - Updated GPU drivers; - New Lockscreen: multiple widgets, improved ripple effect, ability to change clock size and set a personal message; - New Screen modes: adapt display and professional photo; - Daydream; - Driving mode - Actionable notifications; - Move-to-SD-card feature; - New Camera mode: Sound and Shot; - New additions in Notification Centre; - Completely revamped Settings UI; - Implementation of Voice controls; - New Samsung Apps: Calculator, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, Music; - Full screen Samsung apps; - New S-Voice.

Keep in mind that the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so it might not be available for all Galaxy S III LTE devices at the same time. In order to manually check for the Android 4.3 upgrade, head over to Settings / More / About device / Software update.
