It offers intensive support for instant messaging

The T-Mobile MDA Handheld (HTC Wizard) is finally available for purchase on T-Mobile's online store.

It runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 OS and offers intensive support for instant messaging through Yahoo, MSN and AOL messengers. E-mail management is done using Microsoft Outlook.

The T-Mobile MDA is designed to take advantage of the T-Mobile Total Internet network with GPRS, EDGE and WiFi which ensure high data transfer speeds.

A 1.3 megapixel camera is included, capable of capturing picture and video, which can be watched on the QVGA 65k color display using Windows Media Player. Other features include a sliding full QWERTY keyboard, stereo headphones, expandable memory, Voice Mail, pocket versions of popular Office programs.

Connections to the PC and other phones are accomplished through USB and Bluetooth. The handheld is quad-band running on GSM 850/900/1800/1900. The battery lasts about 5 hours in continuous talk mode and up to 10 days in standby mode.
