14 DAY TRIAL // On Wednesday, mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA added to its offering a new high-end device running under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, the HTC Sensation 4G, and a special promotion is already in place for the device.
Launched with a price tag of $199 attached to it upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier and after a $50 mail-in rebate, the mobile phone is now available for $50 less from the wireless carrier.
Until June 28, all users who will purchase the smartphone online from the carrier's website should enter the “SENSATION50” promo code at checkout to have $50 slashed off the cost, T-Mobile announced on Twitter.
The smartphone is already available for purchase at a similar price via Walmart, and it seems that T-Mobile considered it fit to add the promotion to its online store as well.
For those out of the loop, we should also note that the carrier has put in place a special deal for the Sensation for Father's Day, with free handsets expected to arrive in some of its users' hands.
The Sensation 4G that arrived at T-Mobile is the same handset that was launched in Europe, but with support for the wireless carrier's HSPA+ network.
The handset comes with a fast 1.2GHz dual-core application processor, a large 4.3-inch screen, 8MP camera on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, video calling, and more.
“Experience movies and games in their full cinematic glory. The HTC Sensation 4G is T-Mobile's first 4.3" display with super high definition (950 x 540). Colors seem to pop off the massive screen,” the wireless carrier notes on its website.

The mobile phone comes with WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a great deal of services and applications preloaded to offer a great experience to users, including HTC Watch and T-Mobile TV, Facebook and YouTube, and other apps in the all-new HTC Sense 3.0.
