Today, wireless services provider T-Mobile has added a new tablet PC to its offering, namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, one of the thinnest and lightest tablet PCs in the world today.

The new device packs a brilliant 7-inch multi-touch display and offers a great viewing experience when in comes to watching popular TV shows and movies, playing games or downloading and reading full-color magazines.

“Consumers want a selection of affordable, highly mobile tablets that can deliver the content they want virtually anywhere they go,” said Jeremy Korst, vice president of mobile broadband and emerging devices, T-Mobile USA.

“The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a perfectly sized, ultra-thin and lightweight 4G tablet that easily fits in a coat pocket or purse and delivers a rich on-the-go entertainment experience.”

The new device is based on Google's Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and packs a fast 1.2GHz dual core application processor, which should deliver increased performance capabilities to all users.

Moreover, the new device features 16 GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, so that users can benefit from enough storage for their music, videos, photos and other files.

The new tablet PC comes with a 3-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with flash and HD video recording capabilities, as well as with a 2-megapixel photo snapper on the front, for video calling.

The new device arrives on shelves with a wide range of pre-loaded content, including the Samsung Media Hub, which provides users with the possibility to easily purchase or rent TV programs.

There is also WildTangent, which provides access to premium games for free and also enables users easily rent or purchase new games.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is expected to become available for purchase at T-Mobile on November 16th, featuring a price tag of $249.99 (182 Euros) after a $50 mail-in rebate. On that day, the wireless carrier will also launch the T-Mobile SpringBoard at $179.99 (131 Euros).
