More good news for Samsung fans

If you’re a fan of Samsung phones, or if you like to text a lot, then T-Mobile has a new toy especially for you, coming on November 17. Moreover, the upcoming device is expected to have an acceptable price.

The Samsung Gravity t450 is a slide-out phone that provides users with all the basic functions and a little something on the side – and it does all this in a peculiar design. While, at first glance, the Gravity could be somewhat easily mistaken for a low-budget Samsung, the surprise comes in that it comes with a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard for easy typing. Actually, the phone is described as a user-friendly messaging device that will allow customers to stay constantly and easily connected with their friends all day long.

The peculiar device features a 1.3MP camera with video recording capabilities, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, GPRS and EDGE, an expandable memory microSD card slot and USB interface. It also offers users instant messaging, email access, mobile backup, music player, voice notes, and sync with PC capabilities. The colors options in which the phone is available are lime with gray, and aqua with white.

So, one of the things most striking about this device is its looks. When you usually think Samsung, you think nice design and style, but it seems that lately, it keeps delivering devices that are, well, simply weird looking. Take the Samsung Milky for instance, which looks like a huge pill, while the Gravity sends certain vibes of a cheap piece of plastic. Clearly, low-budget phones will never have the same design as high-end ones, and it's only understandable that they don't – still, users expect at least a minimum consideration towards aesthetics. There is a Latin saying, "de gustibus non est disputandum" that might apply here. Indeed, in this case, there should be no arguing about tastes.

One thing that is to be expected with this phone is a low price, perhaps even the possibility of getting it free with a subscription, but in order to see that, we'll have to wait until November 17.
