Opera Software has announced that mobile operator T-Mobile is going to bring a customized version of the My Opera Community to its web'n'walk users.

This will allow customers to take advantage of My Opera's features including photoblogging, photo albums and more, on their web'n'walk powered mobile phones.

T-Mobile was the first operator to pre-install customized Opera Mini browsers on select handsets and its web'n'walk offering is meant to differentiate the mobile operator as the leading mobile Internet provider and grow data services into a mass market.

The web'n'walk offering uses a customized version of the Opera Mini browser that allows users to surf the Web from their mobile phones. Once the web'n'walk customers are online with Opera Mini they'll be able to access all of My Opera's features including exclusive T-Mobile group pages. After they have registered, users will automatically be added to the T-Mobile Group.

"T-Mobile is Opera's pioneering customer in terms of integrating My Opera with their product," says Jon von Tetzchner, CEO for Opera Software. "My Opera presents a unique solution to operators such as T-Mobile, as it allows them to offer their customers attractive features such as photoblogging. This not only adds functionality to the web'n'walk offering, but also drives data traffic for T-Mobile."

My Opera For T-Mobile features mobile photoblogging directly from the Opera Mini browser, dedicated T-Mobile forums in the community, 300 MB of storage and the T-Mobile group page that automatically includes registered web'n'walk users. The mobile operator will be demonstrating the My Opera Community during this year's CeBIT in Hannover, Germany.
