The application provides details on users' accounts

One more application has been recently added to the Android Market, and it is worth mentioning because this would be the first one unveiled by T-Mobile. Called My Account, the new software solution allows users to access all the info on their account.

According to T-Mobile, the new application is able to offer them all the details they would like to receive on “current activity, bill summary, plan information, online payment, help guides, forums, battery info, storage info, and more.”

There is nothing that can be considered groundbreaking about the new application developed by T-Mobile, yet it is nice to know that G1 mobile phone users are able to enjoy a solution provided to them by the carrier that first brought the HTC Dream powered by Google's Android operating system into their hands. At the same time, another good thing about the new app is the fact that it doesn't come from a third-party developer.

And since the G1 is T-Mobile's flagship device, its users will be a little happier knowing that they are now able to access information on their accounts directly from the Android-based handset via a personalized application, and don't have to look up the details over the Internet, in stores, or over the phone. At the same time, they are able to receive much cleaner info on the handset, all through a series of easy-to-use options.

Those that would like to benefit from the advantages the new My Account application is able to provide to them only need to go to the Android Market on their mobile phone, and there they will be able to find T-Mobile's software solution available for download for free. Those of you that own a T-Mobile G1 device should consider heading to the Marketplace to take a look at what the app is able to offer.
