The computer systems of the popular sandwich chain ‘wichcraft have been hacked. The payment cards of all those who have made purchases between August 11, 2013, and October 2, 2013, at ‘wichcraft locations in San Francisco and New York might have been compromised.

According to the company’s President, Jeffrey Zurofsky, the information accessed by the cybercriminals includes names, payment card numbers, expiration dates and security codes. However, he highlights the fact that not all of these pieces of information have been accessed for each of the impacted customers.

‘wichcraft has started notifying affected customers. The company is also collaborating with law enforcement authorities and credit card issuers in investigating the incident.

Affected individuals are not being offered any credit protection services. Instead, they’re advised to order free credit reports and keep a close eye on their bank accounts.
