Microsoft has dramatically simplified the way in which early adopters can access the pre-release downloads of System Center 2012.

Testers can head over to the System Center 2012 Pre-Release Products webpage on TechNet and download a range of Beta Builds for next generation System Center offerings.

There has to be little doubt over the fact that this move from the software giant makes it extremely easy for early adopters to grab System Center 2012 Beta downloads and start testing the releases immediately.

“In response to customer feedback we are now making available all the System Center 2012 pre-release products available with a single registration,” revealed Jeff Alexander, IT Pro Evangelist, Microsoft Australia.

“This greatly simplifies your experience in evaluating these products. Previously you had to register for each product you wanted to evaluate. Now during the registration process you can choose which products you want to evaluate.”

Testers can either download all System Center 2012 Beta releases that are available, or just standalone pre-release Builds.

At this point in time, Microsoft is offering testers the following downloads: System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Beta 2, System Center Operations Manager 2012 Beta, System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 Beta, System Center Orchestrator 2012 Beta, System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 RC.

According to the software giant, additional downloads will be added soon, including: System Center App Controller 2012 Beta and System Center Service Manager 2012 Beta.

“System Center solutions help you manage your physical and virtual IT environments across datacenters, desktops, and devices. Using these integrated and automated management solutions, you can be a more productive service provider for your business,” the company said.

“System Center captures and aggregates knowledge about systems, policies, processes, and best practices so that you can optimize your infrastructure to reduce costs, improve application availability, and enhance service delivery.”
