14 DAY TRIAL // Attempting to milk its flagship product for all it’s got before iCloud rolls out, Syncplicity has launched a brand new iPhone app to give users universal mobile access to all their files and folders. The software is also designed to meet key business requirements such as security, backup and versioning, Syncplicity said.
The cloud company acknowledges that it is at the nexus of two major IT trends, with both mobile and cloud adoption exploding among consumers and businesses.
An IDC report says the market for cloud services is expected to reach $2.5 billion by 2014, whereas the number of smartphones is to exceed $1 billion by 2013, got a forecast by Informa Telecoms & Media.
This is where the free Syncplicity iPhone app comes in and leverages file synchronization and management technology that brings all of a user’s data in one place, so that it's always backed up, in sync, accessible, as well as instantly shareable.
Commenting on their release, Leonard Chung, Syncplicity’s co-founder and chief product strategist said “With more data, file types, mobile devices and cloud apps, the level of complexity that users face managing their data has skyrocketed.
