The antivirus producing company announced yesterday the beta version of the complete and integrated security solution, which offers protection against spyware and adware.

Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition provides automatic and real-time detection, removal and protection against such threats. This new detecting solution provides protection against viruses, hackers and ensures the users' privacy.

The free beta version of Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition can be downloaded from www.symantec.com/spyware. The company estimates that the complete version of Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition will be available in the second half of this year.

AntiSpyware includes several thorough scanning levels which ensure a spyware and adware free environment. Unlike the rest of the products from this category, Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition identifies these malicious codes before entering the system. The real time scanning options will include complete scanning of the system and scheduled scanning, but also the Norton QuickScan option. Automatic LiveUpdate technology proposed by Symantec will supply security updates for the latest appearances of malicious codes. After the database is updated, Norton QuickScan will start automatic scanning of the system.

The price of these security solutions is 79.95 USD, and the users of previous Symantec versions will be able to upgrade to Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition for 49.95 USD.
