The latest version of iAnywhere Mobile Office for iPhone, Windows Mobile and Symbian-running devices offers enhanced administrative, network security and deployment features that allow enterprises to reduce the total cost of ownership when extending email and business processes to wireless devices, Sybase iAnywhere has confirmed.

Addressing enterprise requirements on wireless devices such as Apple's iPhone, the latest version of iAnywhere Mobile Office delivers features like: Business Process Mobilization; Enterprise Administration; Enhanced Network Security with New Relay Server; Reduced TCO with New Deployment and Supportability Features.

“To ensure secure email access and protection of on-board corporate data for wireless users, companies need to add a third party application that extends the offering provided with the device,” said Jack Gold, President of J.Gold Associates. “Products that offer enhanced network security, data protection, device management, profile administration, support and deployment features, such as iAnywhere Mobile Office, should be considered for any enterprise deploying wireless devices. This especially holds true if the product allows for cross-platform support which is so common in the enterprise.”

“Enterprise users are looking to do more with mobile devices. The latest version of iAnywhere Mobile Office empowers workers to securely conduct time-sensitive business processes on a variety of mobile devices,” stated Willie Jow, vice president of Mobility Product Marketing, Sybase. “We are focused on enabling the real-time Unwired Enterprise, facilitating work to continue even when mobile workers are not in the office.”

Supporting both IBM Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange, the latest version of iAnywhere Mobile Office is now available here (beginning with a free, 30-day trial version). Recently, Sybase also announced enhanced iPhone support and availability for the iPhone client on the iTunes App Store (free download).
