Though there are some all-in-one liquid cooling solutions on the market, enthusiasts often still go for custom-made or at least more elaborate liquid coolers, and Swiftech seems quite in support of this idea, having even unleashed the MCP35X, its latest liquid pump.

Most desktops, even high-end systems, can usually make do with air cooling, as long as they have enough fans and good enough heatsinks.

When it comes to enthusiast-grade machines and, especially, overclocked systems, liquid cooling is sometimes a must.

As such, there are many companies that deal in selling pumps and waterblocks, along with all other accessories and components that such systems require.

Most recently, Swiftech completed the MCP35X, its newest pump that claims to be better than the MCP335 series.

For one, it has a redesigned black POM housing, as well as PWM support, which lets the rotary speed hover between 1,300 RPM and 4,500 RPM.

What's more, the product features a MTBF of 50,000 hours and 12V DC power.

"Compared to other pumps in our product line-up, and also considering the plethora of third party after market housings available for our pumps, the MCP35X is expected to emerge as a no-contest proposition,” said Gabriel Rouchon, Swiftech's Chairman and CTA.

“It finally gives enthusiast users all the choices that they always wanted, more raw performance, silent running at low speed, more versatility, together with the peace of mind afforded by Swiftech's 2 year warranty," he added.

Swiftech is already selling the MCP35X, priced at $110, though one can also buy an optional reservoir for an additional $30. The purchase is backed by a two-year warranty and comes with G1/4 x 1/2-inch barb fittings.
