32-year-old Nick Williams has chosen to battle cancer in all forms, including writing a message about it via his custom license plates.

His choice of “F Cancr” is getting the Oklahoma man in trouble, however, and he is now told to take the plates off.

In case you have also been misled by the “F” in “F Cancer,” Williams explains to 13 News that it stands for “fight.”

The state tax commission argues that it implies profanity, but the brain cancer survivor describes it as an expression of his long war with the disease.

For the past two and a half years, he has struggled with brain surgery and chemo and cannot grow his hair out because of the large scars on his head. He is intent on also fighting this decision, which he dubs unjust.

“When I had my surgery, they got 60 percent of it. The other 40 percent was entwined in my brain My 'F' it stands for fight. Some people look at it as a different word, but I'm fighting brain cancer,” he describes.
