The blob jump sends a swimmer in the water in a record-breaking attempt

A blob launch record-breaking attempt has gone viral online and, although the video looks like it is made by amateurs, it is very entertaining.

The production of this clip required two jumpers, a bouncer and a blob, floating on a river. Someone jumps off a clip in a rather uncoordinated manner and lands on top of a blob.

That sets off a chain of events that has the second person flying off in the river. The jokesters think that they have broken a world record, but I am not sure that this is the case.

The Guinness Book of World Records recognized the record for widest blob jump on June 24, 2011. The successful stunt was caught on camera in Cham, Switzerland and the jump covered 17 meters (56 feet).
