Last week, fed up with rumors about how she was getting Botox on a regular basis, Megan Fox took to Facebook to rubbish rumors with a series of photos. Instead of silencing critics, the pics have only provided more fuel for the debate.

As we also noted at the time, after she uploaded the photos to her account, fans were quick to react to them – and many were still saying that she needed to lay off Botox, fillers and plastic surgery.

Indeed, she showed her forehead had wrinkles if she frowned, but there was still something very odd about her face, they were saying.

Some surgeons (who have never treated the actress and only speak based on the photos) agree: she needs to stop injecting herself with all kinds of fillers and Botox, because she’s starting to look “alien,” the Orange County Register writes.

Of the experts the e-zine spoke to as regards Fox’s appearance, some believe one photo (also attached to this article) has been digitally altered, because it’s anatomically impossible to have arched wrinkles on the forehead, in between the eyebrows.

Others, less skeptic but still not believing Fox, say that the weird shape of the wrinkles proves the contrary of what she set out to demonstrate, because it can only be achieved when Botox is already wearing off.

“This photo is totally consistent with the wrinkle pattern you will see in someone whose Botox has begun wearing off,” plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow of Newport Beach says for the publication.

“When you have Botox to the entire face, different parts wear off at different rates and can give you a strangish-looking pattern of wrinkles until it all wears off. I bet this photo was taken the day before her Botox appointment,” Dubrow adds.

What’s even worse is that Fox clearly doesn’t need any of the procedures she’s been having done to the face: she’s young, she’s beautiful and she probably doesn’t even have wrinkles to beging with.

“She’s a beautiful girl and should ease up on the Botox and obvious filler she has in her lips. She’s starting to look a bit alien and should consider parking her spaceship for a while,” Dubrow underlines.

“Maybe Ms. Fox has just shown us that she has not done her usual whole forehead Botox but now has scaled back to just the glabella [the area between the eyebrows]. I believe this explains the foreign appearance best,” Dr. John Di Saia of San Clemente and Orange opines.

Of course, there are also those who believe Megan when she says she hasn’t had any work done – or Botox.
