Fox Mobile Entertainment and Superscape, one of the top five mobile games publishers in North America, announced the launch of Alien vs. Predator - Requiem, a mobile action game inspired by the motion picture with the same name produced by Twentieth Century Fox.

The game allows players to choose from one of the two well-known characters: the Alien, with all its tail-whipping, acid-spitting, and head-crunching moves; and the Predator, with his high-tech weaponry and stealth capabilities. Throughout the two single-player campaigns available (one for each character) gamers will have to complete different types of missions such as kill'em all, stealth or labyrinth encounter. During the missions, players will face familiar enemies from the Alien vs. Predator universe, such as the Alien Queen, the Praetorian, as well as different human characters. The game plays from a top-down perspective and includes the usual elements expected from an action game, such as power-ups that boost strength or give special abilities, and end-level bosses.

The game also includes a multiplayer component which plunges the gamers into a global battle between the species. The multiplayer mode consists of tournaments in which players can choose to play either as an Alien or a Predator. Each gamer's individual score is added to the global total and helps to determine which species wins.

"Talk about a brand everyone's heard of, Aliens vs. Predator is huge! And based on the success of previous mobile games, we're expecting big things for this title. I'm sure fans won't be disappointed when they play the game, especially with the additional network features bringing a whole new depth to the mobile gaming experience," said Kevin Roberts, CEO of Superscape. "Based on feedback from the previous game, we feel Superscape's latest Aliens vs. Predator mobile game is a winner. It combines great graphics with gripping characters and a powerful storyline. Along with the film coming out in December, they should be great successes."

The game will be available via mobile operators throughout North America, South America, Canada, Japan and China; and also via the Jamster/Jamba portal.
