On the outside, this very interesting piece of clothing looks exactly like an everyday black jacket (and not even a very trendy one, for that matter). It's made out of 100% polyester canvas with PU-coating on the reverse and features a waistband with a pull-chord and velcro fastening at the sleeve ends, as well as a detachable hood. Moreover, as mentioned before, this jacket can withstand stabs, cuts, slashes with sharp and blunt edged weapons like hypodermic needles, ice picks, knives and broken bottles, as long as the applied force doesn't exceed 25 Joules. The "assault-proof" jacket is available for around $2450 (1840 Euro), which is not even that big a price, considering the fact that it could actually save your life at some point (if it really works as advertised, of course).
