Super Talent, a leading vendor of memory products, has just announced the introduction of its first PCIe RAIDDrive workstation, designed to provide business consumers with a high-performance storage solution. These new models have been designed using Intel's fastest consumer processors to date, the Nehalem-based Core i7 and Super Talent's DDR3 1333MHz memory modules. They can be configured with up to 6TB of storage space and they take advantage of Super Talent's patented RAIDSSD Technology.

“Providing system level solutions is a very important milestone for our company. In modern enterprise computing memory and disk architectures have become a major differentiator in system performance. We leveraged our years of expertise in designing and producing world class DRAM and SSD products to provide PCIe RAIDDrive Workstations for our customers. We hope to help the SSD industry extend its market penetration into the enterprise server market.” said CH Lee, COO, Super Talent.

According to the company's internal testing, using Crystal Disk Mark v2.2, these new 6TB workstations can deliver sustained sequential read speeds of over 1.5GB/s, while the sustained sequential write speeds are rated at approximately 1.35GB/s. Using HDBench, the new PCIe RAIDDrive Workstation from Super Talent showed a random read speed of 725MB/s and a random write speed of 515MB/s. Although no details regarding the pricing of these new products have been made available, the performance levels they can achieve are impressive.

In addition to announcing its new PCIe RAIDDrive Workstations, Super Talent also specified that these new models will be showcased during the 2009 Computex Taipei show, which will be held between June 2 and 6. The company also said that customers interested in adopting the new products would be able to take advantage of the support delivered by a professional system technician, ready to help them custom design the systems according to their needs.
