As slowly, but surely, the USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed USB) standard becomes more and more mainstream, the number of storage solutions using this high-speed data transfer technology also increases, the latest product of this type we've come across being the new Express Duo model introduced by Super Talent.

Super Talent is quite well-known for its involvement in the field of storage solutions in general and USB 3.0 drives in particular, and for this reason, the fact that they've decided to roll out yet another product of this type doesn't exactly come as much of a surprise.

The Express Duo is not really a huge surprise in terms of features and specs, but, nevertheless, it can be easily billed as a top-range portable storage product, given the fact that it provides some pretty impressive storage capabilities, namely 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.

Furthermore, beside letting users carry around a pretty significant amount of data, the Super Talent Express Duo USB 3.0 flash drive will also enable them to transfer said data at some pretty decent speeds, namely 67 MB/s for reading processes and 25 MB/s for writing, when connected to a suitable USB 3.0 port, of course.

Similar to most other USB 3.0 products out there, the Express Duo will most likely work quite well with USB 2.0 interfaces as well, although the data transfer rates will be capped at a maximum of 480 Mbps.

Users shouldn't have any problems carrying this thing around, given the fact that it measures just around 67.8 x 17.2 x 7.7 mm, while its OS support is also quite extensive, working quite well when connected to Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Mac OSX machines.

No pricing details for the new Express Duo USB 3.0 Flash Drive from Super Talent have been provided just yet, but we'll try our best in order to come up with these important pieces of information as soon as possible.
