Street Fighter IV came out last year and it promised to reanimate the legendary Street Fighter franchise, and it did that and more, as Super Street Fighter IV is pegged for release sometime this year. There were a lot of additions and changes to the game, compared with its previous installment in the series, like the addition of the Ultra Combos, but the Super version of STIV promises even more features. Some of them have slowly trickled already, like some of the newly added fighters or some rumored new moves. But, now, the fighting title got a little bit more specific with its new features.

First, Capcom exchanged a few words with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, and the one thing that SSFIV will get is Ultra Combos for everyone. While some are still pending an unveiling, others have been made available to us, humble mortals. Four have been detailed by Capcom, and they're thoroughly detailed below.

Metsu-Shoryuken (Ryu), essentially an uppercut leading to a powered-up Shoryuken. Burning Dance (C. Viper), a fire- and lightning-infused kick-and-chop number that you can launch in the air. CQC (Cammy Quick Combination) (Cammy), a unique counter-focused Ultra Combo that features the ponytailed lady putting her opponent into a submission hold. El Fuerte Ultra Spark (El Fuerte), a close-range throw move that sends the wrestler spinning around his opponent's neck by his legs. The second thing the game unveiled was a brand-new set of costumes, which Game Trailers has been courteous enough to showcase for us. Some of the things that stood out were Metal Zangief or Cammy in a special version of Bison's outfit. “Special” means that most of the fabric has been lost in transition, but even so, it does look like it's the most armored costume Cammy ever got. Another thing that can be picked up from the trailer is that the title will also feature new Rival Battles. Now, all we have to do is work on our fighting tactics and get ready to rumble.
