Without a doubt, AOC is one of the world's best-known and most important PC monitor manufacturers and, living up to its name, the company has just recently released a brand-new, super-slim line of LED monitors called the Aire Black LED.

Available in multiple display sizes (20, 22 and 23-inch models, to be precise), the new PC monitors from AOC are quite a sight for sore eyes, featuring a very slim form factor (just 12.7-cm thick), as well as an attractive, piano-black design.

As mentioned right from the start, the new PC monitors from AOC also offer a LED backlighting system, helping them to achieve a 50,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, the 5ms response time, while fairly OK for mainstream usage and applications, is not exactly fantastic as far as PC games are concerned.

Unfortunately, for some strange reason, AOC has decided to be quite conservative as far as the connectivity options provided by the Aire Black LED monitors are concerned, given the fact that they only feature a DVI-D connected with HDCP support.

Last, but certainly not least, we'll also have to point out that the products from the Aire Black LED line are quite eco-friendly, requiring just 15 watts of energy for normal functioning and also including an eSaver feature that lets the user select specific power-saving mode for the display when the computer is not being used (the monitor sports a Power Saving Mode that cuts power consumption in half, as well as a Standby Mode, requiring just around 0.1W).

Despite of their interesting features, the new AOC PC monitors from the Aire Black LED series are not exactly hugely expensive, the 20-inch e2043Fk selling for around $129, the 22-inch e2243Fwk for around 149 US dollars, while the top-range, 23-inch e2343Fk model for just around $179, well within the market limits for this type of products.
