Wii games have new bugs and this is one of them

The European version of the famous Super Paper Mario title has some issues, well rather programming glitches. It turns out this Wii game freezes your console at the start of Chapter 2-2, but only under certain conditions. When you meet Mimi and start chatting with her, in case you don't pick up a certain key, you'll see that the game freezes. This minor issue is too specific to blame the developers, but still it's a pretty important glitch for a game like Super Paper Mario.

After seeing the bug happening, you'll have to restart your Wii and load the last save in order to keep playing. Not all the European versions are affected and till now we've only heard about the UK English, German and Spanish versions suffering from this glitch. The good news is that you'll get a free replacement for every copy of the game that has the above-mentioned issue.

In case you're a paranoid Wii lover, don't fret, as your console will be unharmed by the glitch and the producers have already apologized for their minor mistake. We'll soon see details about the replacement process surfacing on the game's official site, but for now you can just get past the glitched event and keep playing. This is the perfect way to handle a situation of this sort, unlike what we've witnessed in the case of BioShock's widescreen bug... 2K delayed a patch so much, that the gamers had to create their own, but eventually the problem got fixed.

Is it just me or do Nintendo games have less glitches and bugs compared to the titles launched on the other consoles and the PC? Seriously I haven't heard about a major Wii bug till now and even this issue is not so bad. Seems that Nintendo has got the perfect bug-free recipe and they should share it with the other console makers and game producers.
