Since new central processing units are bound to come out over the next few weeks, it is not surprising that cooling solution makers would prepare new coolers, though the new one from Sunbeamtech is not exactly meant for next-generation chips.

As end-users know, Intel is going to release the Sandy Bridge series of CPUs within the next few weeks.

As such, not only have there appeared P67 motherboards, but even coolers with support for the LGA 1155 socket.

Sunbeamtech will most likely bring out one or more LGA 1155-compatible products when the time comes.

This once, on the other hand, it figured it wouldn't rush things when it put together the Twister 120 tower cooler.

Essentially, it is an air cooler designed to be compatible with the Intel central processors built for the LGA 775, LGA 1156 and LGA 1366 sockets.

Additionally, so that an even wider array of products be supported, the product can also work with Socket 939, 940, AM2, AM2+ and AM3 processors from Advanced Micro Devices.

It boasts three 8mm direct touch copper heatpipes and, combined with the heatsink and the two fans, measures 125 (L) x 60 (W) x 151 (H) mm.

Speaking of fans, the company uses two of them (120mm) as part of the ISO-Turbo Technology, meaning that they spin in opposite directions, for better airflow efficiency.

Other specifications include a sound output of 16 dBA and a product bundle that includes some TX-4 Thermal Compound and a Rheosmart PCI fan controller.

End-users interested in getting a first-hand view of the specifications need only drop by the official product page that exists in Sunbeamtech's website already.

Unfortunately, those that wish to buy one will have to wait until it actually becomes available, at which point its actual price tag should finally be revealed as well.
