New models added; stickers cost around 6 bucks a piece

Shufflesome Stickers has recently made available more decorative stickers for the iPod nano with video. Don't run off just yet. Just because you don't own a nano with video doesn't mean that you can't pimp out other Apple players, such as the small but sexy iPod shuffle.

The stickers, available in more than 20 designs, only cover the iPod nano's rear metal casing. Their price has been set at ?5 ($6.20) and while the stickers are designed by artists worldwide, it is Alexander Schneider himself who does the packaging, one of the reasons for having to price them so "high." Modesty truly is a virtue:

"Gosh almighty! Packaging Shufflesome stickers is the most time-consuming part of order fulfillment. Each packaging is assembled by hand, and each sticker is packaged by hand. Packaging incurs costs, pushes the price higher, and is later thrown away. Still, I can't help myself; it's got to be right, different, more than a basic wrapping. There is a sense of obligation, slight insanity, and joy which makes me give more attention to it than would be necessary. Fortunately, there are people who like it, and who are passionate about packaging design, such as the good people of The Brand Union, in Hamburg. They have helped to set a new standard in sticker packaging," says Mr. Schneider.

Your order will be shipped from Germany to wherever you live, via Deutsche Post. Shufflesome ships packages and orders twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.

New stickers, arrived on March 13, 2008, include ART OR DESIGN, PETALS, HANDMAD, FORMERLY FUCHSIA, WOODY, DECK, MIDNIGHT BLOOM, and more. Some of the designs are available below for a quick glance. Click on each picture to enlarge.

All sticker designs copyright by the artists.
