Says she’s all for “an eye for an eye”

Katie Price, once formerly known as glamour model Jordan or Britain’s favorite Barbie girl, is now a fully grown woman who is not all about posing for the cameras and partying the night away. Other than being a highly successful businesswoman, Katie is also known for getting involved, at least verbally, in issues of general interest. One of them is crime and a fit punishment, of which she recently spoke to The Sun.

With the risk of sounding too “strict,” but far from intentionally excusing herself for the things she believes in, Katie bluntly tells the British tab that, as far as she’s concerned, there is no better punishment for criminals than “an eye for an eye.” This would apply mostly to those who assault and/or abuse women, who should be given exactly the same treatment while incarcerated.

Moreover, Katie says, if she could, she would apply the same type of punishment to all law offenders, no exception whatsoever. “If someone is done for drink-driving, they should have their license taken away for life. And if someone steals, they should have to wear a dye on their skin, like a tattoo on their ear or somewhere it can be seen – like across their face! That would stop people stealing.” the star reveals to The Sun.

Granted, this is not the first time that Katie Price speaks out on what are, in the end of it all, her own beliefs, only to be mocked by the local and international media. Of course, actually doing something, like using her celebrity status to attract attention on such issues that she speaks of, would probably be of more use to the community than just chit-chatting, it has been noted.

Katie Price is currently preparing to move to the US with husband Peter Andre. While Peter will be in studio working on a new music album, Katie plans, according to her own admission, to meet and hang out with socialite extraordinaire Paris Hilton.
