14 DAY TRIAL // Fountainhead International, a company providing ergonomic solutions for the office, has released StretchPro, an application that brings stretching video guides to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The program is addressed to users who spend a good part of their day seated, drawing attention to the necessity of stretching at regular intervals. In 20 studio-produced videos, users can learn the correct way to exercise their eyes, neck, shoulders, chest, back, wrists, fingers, and legs, in order to reduce strain, fatigue, stress, and injury. The exercises are illustrated by a female model who demonstrates them while seated in an office chair. Where necessary, both front and side views are shown simultaneously, to give users all the needed information for proper execution. Instructions are provided using both voice and text.
By touching the body parts of a graphically rendered woman, users can select the video associated with that particular part of the body. The lessons can also be viewed from head to toe, in that order, or in shuffle mode. Besides stretches, the application also comprises eye and breathing exercises, as well as health tips.
