The Street Fighter gaming series now returns to mobile phones with a new promising sequel for the first version. "Street Fighter II: Champion Edition" will be released on the occasion of celebrating 20 years of the game concept next year.

Capcom is the leading video game developer and publisher that is the cause of the Street Fighter success. This is based on one of the most popular arcade games of the 90s. As a matter of fact, this can account for being the first fighting game of the era, one concept which has later been deployed in a huge number of various modes.

The mobile phone version includes the same intense challenge and follows the lines which have managed to make this game a great success in the past. It also includes the same classic characters, Ken, Ryu and Chun-Li plus their individual special attacks.

The advantage that mobile phones bring to this type of fighting games is that the keypad is quite easy to handle and the large button combination leaves room for a huge number of possibilities. Moreover, hitting the handset's buttons makes the gameplay's action feel just as real as it would on any other devices, also bringing the same amount of satisfaction along with the victory.

"Street Fighter II: Champion Edition" gives the user the chance to choose from 12 different characters to use during combats. Each of them has a unique fighting style, which makes the actual fight even more intense and challenging. The game also features several sceneries, in different arenas, such as Guile's American airbase and Dhalsim's Indian Temple. This, along with the possibility of changing combat characters breaks monotony and makes gameplay highly entertaining.

"Street Fighter II: Champion Edition" will be available starting with September, this year. It will come with several languages support and work on a large number of mobile devices.
