Warpia is quite well-known for developing some very interesting wireless connectivity solutions for home entertainment systems, and for this reason, it should come as no surprise that they've also prepared a cool new addition to their lineup for CES 2011, namely the StreamHD wireless USB-to-HDMI adapter.

According to Warpia, the StreamHD allows users to view any media from a laptop on a flat screen TV in true 1080P (1920 x 1280) resolution, meaning that content such as streaming video, pictures, movies, presentations, Facebook, Hulu, Joost, Netflix and other applications can be shown on one's HDTV without the hassle and clutter of wires.

The wireless connectivity solution is also quite easy to use, since one will simply have to connect the receiver base to the display via HDMI, then plug the USB adapter into their computer in order to establish the wireless link.

After that, all the digital content from one's computer will be instantly transmitted to the HDTV, all within thirty feet line-of-site wireless rang (not particularly fantastic, but guess that it will do, at least for short-range applications).

Moreover, should the user have a home theater system with optical inputs, they can enable 5.1-channel surround sound, thus enabling home owners to create a complete and comprehensive wireless cinematographic experience.

An additional feature worth mentioning is the StreamHD's "extend mode" , enabling users to enjoy the flexibility of working with two screens at once.

"Our improved technology gives customers the all-access viewing they've come to expect from Warpia, along with stunning HD quality," says Marc Levaggi, VP of Marketing for Warpia.

"StreamHD makes wireless home entertainment seem effortless," added the company's rep.

StreamHD is now available for $169.99, the sales package including a Wireless USB PC Adapter, video base with wireless USB receiver, power supply unit, HDMI cable, SPDIF cable, Quick Start Guide, installation and documentation CD.
