Lay your eyes upon the peripheral of weirdness, if you dare

We spotted the Level 10 Mouse teaser that Thermaltake made last month and, now, the company has finally introduced this critter, though without pricing or availability details.

We find this item just as weird as the first time, but the BMW theme will surely reel in a fair share of the high-end consumer market.

The mouse strives to look like a car as much as possible, even if that means making its side buttons look like wheels.

At any rate, the peripheral has a pair of regular buttons at the top and five on the sides, one of which, the “Z” key, is made for five different commands.

Up to eleven programmable commands can be stored by the mouse at any given time.

The other specs of the mouse are what one would expect from an enthusiast device: DPI adjustability (800 to 8,200 DPI) and the Function-Lock Mechanism that locks side keys during gaming mode, to avoid giving wrong commands.

Finally, the top of the mouse has indicators for the DPI status and lets owners make changes when needed.
