A story about a Chinese man winning a suit against his wife for hiding her unpleasant features and giving him ugly kids may be a hoax.

The news suggests that the wife has head plastic surgery, deceiving her husband about her looks.

Huffington Post aims to shed light on the confusion. While there have been photos of the woman circulating in the media, there are none to show how the child or husband look.

The photo above has been attributed to the story and it allegedly shows the couple and their three kids. Had the first child been a reason for divorce, they would not have had two others.

Chinese officials have not confirmed the story. Moreso, the photo above has allegedly been posted a year ago, and it is an advert for a plastic surgery clinic.

“The only thing you have to worry about after plastic surgery is the explaining you’ll have to do to your children,” the campaign tagline reads.
