14 DAY TRIAL // It can’t be too much of a surprise that Steven Tyler did a lot of drugs when he was younger, but you might be surprised when you hear just how much he spent feeding that habit – even though it’s inarguably less than the amount circulated online.
Tyler sat down for an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, with the full segment scheduled to air tomorrow night.
Below is a preview, which touches on the topic of drug use. Tyler has been clean for years and, at the same time, quite open to talking about the experiences he had when he was younger.
“Realistically, 5 or 6,” he says when asked how much he thinks he spent on drugs. That’s $5 or $6 million (€3.79 or €4.5 million).
“But it doesn't matter. You also could say I snorted half of Peru, but it doesn't matter. It’s what we did,” Tyler adds.
He also talks about his Aerosmith mate Joe Perry and how they’re still “The Toxic Twins” even though they’re no longer doing drugs.
