Steve Jobs has been spotted at Stanford Hospital this week, according to an unverified report.

Apple Chief Executive Officer, Steven P. Jobs has been on medical leave of absence for the better part of this year with no indication as to when he might return to Apple.

This is his second such leave in just as many years, and the third leave since he first learned that he was suffering from a rare form of pancreatic cancer, which he subsequently fought off.

However, many believe that either his cancer has returned, or that the ‘scars’ the disease has left in its wake are still hurting the CEO.

It is also worth noting that Jobs publicly estimated his return during his second medical leave of absence, but not during his third.

In January this year, he simply said he was going to attend to his health problems, but promised to stay involved in major decision making.

“At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health,” Jobs wrote in a note to all Apple employees.

“I will continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company,” he said.

Geekanoids now claims to have exclusive information from a tipster who reportedly saw Jobs the other day.

“Just reporting a tip I was given, nothing more, Steve Jobs seen at Stanford Hospital 29th June 2011. I sincerely hope he is OK,” the site’s Dave writes on YouTube.

In his video coverage, he adds that the tipster who spotted Jobs said the Apple CEO looked “rail thin.” Unfortunately, they had no actual imagery to show.

However, Jobs has been looking rail thin for years now. Perhaps a comparison would have helped.

We hate to add fuel to the fire, but this would mark the second time Jobs has been spotted at a medical facility in the Palo Alto area (where he also lives) in California.

Earlier this year, the man was seen entering the cancer clinic where late actor Patrick Swayze underwent treatment months before his tragic death.

Should this mean Steve Jobs is not getting well? After all, it’s been over six months since his leave.
