SteelSeries is a Danish manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories, and it doesn't usually release products globally. This is one of the times when it did though.

The SteelSeries Siberia Elite Gaming Headset can now be acquired in Europe, ASIA and the Americas. Or at least whatever countries the company's retail channel can reach.

The headphones use Dolby technology to produce the closest thing to realistic 7.1 virtual surround sound that headphones can manage.

Among the assets of the headset there are extra-large memory foam ear cushions, a self-adjusting suspension system (connected to a steel arc), audio and microphone-mute controls (dials on the earcups), and an illumination system with a choice of 16.8 million color options (radiate from each earcup).

SteelSeries ships the Siberia Elite Gaming Headset for $199.99 / €199.99, bundled with a new software that controls the light and sound settings (equalizer, microphone features, etc.).
