There are two clear hints that the new headphone set from SteelSeries is a powerful, high-end product: the name and the price.

The name is Siberia Elite, and we all know that all products with “elite” in their name are the finest.

The price is of $199.99 / €150, leagues above the sub-$100 / €70 and sub-$50 / €37 that common models ship for.

The main reason for the price of the SteelSeries Siberia Elite headset is the Dolby technology for realistic 7.1 virtual surround sound.

There's more to the newcomer though, like a self-adjusting suspension system, a steel arc, and illumination systems on the ear cups that can be adjusted to any one of 16.8 million color options.

The bundled software sets the light and allows owners to manipulate the equalizer.

All in all, the SteelSeries Siberia Elite headset should make PC, Mac, tablet and phone owners more than happy, once the hurdle of the price is surpassed anyway.
