While companies are busy launching new sorts of hardware components and PC peripherals, SteelSeries figured it would offer an accessory meant to enhance both comfort and aesthetics, namely a new mouse pad.

Since this week has been that of Thanksgiving, mot companies, at elast those in the US, have kept their new product launches to a minimum.

Also, with Black Friday underway, end-users have been mostly busy with scoring new deals than anything else, hence IT players' reluctance to actually update their lineups.

As such, this week didn't see the rise of any especially unusual products, although Acer did go on a sort of a product release spree when it came to tablets, among other things.

Still, SteelSeries figured it wouldn't hurt to bring out its newest mouse surface, especially considering how it plays on the hype surrounding one of the more highly-anticipated upcoming games,

The game in question is Diablo III, and the company used the likeness, or at least the concept art, of the Barbarian to give true visual value to the new product.

Essentially, it is a QcK mousepad that will now add to its maker's large portfolio of customized gaming gear.

It is made out of “a high-quality cloth material with an optimized textured surface,” in the company's own words, and “provides players with both a smooth and consistent gliding surface.”

“Optimized for optical and laser mouse technology, the SteelSeries QcK has been tested by professional gamers around the world and has been used to win more tournaments and competitions than any other mousepad across the globe,” further states the product page.

Said product page can be found here and those interested in buying the newcomer will have to part with $14.99, or just as many Euro if they happen to live in Europe.
